Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the VocalErase iOS application (the "App", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

VocalErase lets you upload audio files and uses an AI model to separate them into stems (vocals, instrumental and, depending on the separation mode you choose, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other) that you can download and use. The App uses a credit-based system: certain actions (such as running a separation) consume credits, which you can obtain for free when you first sign up and can purchase additional amounts of via in-app purchase. Uploaded files and results are stored only temporarily, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

The App creates an anonymous, device-based account for you automatically. You may optionally link an email address and password, or use Sign in with Apple, to protect your credits and history across devices. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Your content and copyright

You retain all rights to the audio files you upload. By uploading a file, you confirm that you own it or otherwise have the necessary rights and permissions to use it and to create derivative works (such as separated stems) from it. You are solely responsible for how you use the separated stems, including compliance with any applicable copyright law. We do not review uploaded content for copyright ownership, and we may remove content or suspend accounts we reasonably believe are being used to infringe third-party rights.

4. Credits and purchases

• Credits are consumed based on the length of the audio file you separate and the separation mode you choose (vocals + instrumental, or a 4- or 6-stem split); the exact cost is shown in the App before you start.
• Credits granted for free when you first sign up can be used for the basic vocals + instrumental separation. Other separation modes require that you have purchased credits at least once; after your first purchase, your whole credit balance can be used in every mode.
• Purchased credit packs are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and do not expire.
• If a separation job fails, the credits used for that job are automatically refunded to your balance.
• Results are deleted automatically after a limited time (24 hours for accounts that have not purchased credits, 7 days for accounts that have). You can spend 1 credit to keep a completed separation until you delete your account.
• All purchases are billed by Apple. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own policies — see Apple's refund request page.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated for violating these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload content you do not have the rights to use;
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the App or its backend infrastructure;
• Automate or bulk-process uploads in a way that abuses the free-credit or processing system.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." AI-based audio separation is not perfect, and results may vary in quality depending on the source material. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that separation results will meet your expectations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Support page). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Apple's standard EULA

To the extent required, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
