Make a karaoke track from any song
Want to sing along to a song that has no karaoke version? VocalErase removes the lead vocal from your own audio files, so you are left with the instrumental backing track.

Make a karaoke track in four steps
- Open VocalErase and choose the song from your iPhone (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG, up to 50 MB and 8 minutes).
- Keep “Vocals + Instrumental” selected and tap Separate.
- Preview the instrumental in the app.
- Download or share it and play it in your favorite music or karaoke app.
Tips for a better karaoke track
- Start from the highest-quality file you have — WAV, FLAC or a high-bitrate MP3.
- Studio recordings separate better than live recordings with crowd noise.
- Faint backing vocals can remain in the instrumental. That is normal for AI vocal removers.
- Download the acapella too if you want to check timing or learn the melody.
What VocalErase does not do
VocalErase creates the instrumental backing track. It does not display lyrics, so read them from wherever you usually do and play the instrumental in any player you like.
Great for more than karaoke
- Recording a cover over the instrumental.
- Practicing an instrument or your singing along to a full-band backing track.
- Making an acapella to remix or study.
Pricing: credits, no subscription
One credit turns a song of up to 4 minutes into a karaoke track; songs up to 8 minutes cost 2. New accounts start with free credits, and credit packs never expire.
